As part of its online marketing strategy and using the accelerated and sustained “content consumption” through mobile and social networks by the target audience, Pepsi sought to promote the album launch of 10 Venezuelan bands through QR codes which they were printed on the label of more than 5 million bottles of 600 ml.

QR ALGORITHM AND “LANDING PAGE”


We generate unique QR codes for each band and developed two models of systems for the “reading” of these codes: from PC / Laptop (with webcam) and smartphones. After reading the code the consumer provided an email, where it was sent a link to a direct download for the whole album or a selected track. This link will expire once the download is complete.

MOBILE VERSION


 

Aware of the penetration and use of smartphones in the target audience, we created a mobile web version of the landing page optimized for the main terminals and mobile browsers currently developed. Once the consumer completes the download envisioned a 15 seconds video of the band thanking the download.

FACEBOOK APP

In order to boost engagement, the brand activated a campaign on Facebook Ads and we developed an app on Facebook to enhance social effect. This App allowed consumers to design and customize (on a grid format) the cover on this social network. Then the result was shared on the timeline, which increased brand exposure.
